Farewell and Thank you
After 11 years faithfully serving CSWH as voluntary secretary, Anne O’Neill, Lucy’s mum, has decided to stand down from this vital role. She has been an absolute Godsend in communicating with local schools and academies to book appointments for the workers, plan visit dates, book Prayer Spaces and Moving On transition days. She has learned new IT skills and been the gentle, yet persistent, voice of CSWH in our communication with the schools. She has now decided it is the right time to step down and we want to acknowledge all she has done for CSWH. We are very grateful to Anne and will be presenting her with a small gift to show our appreciation to her. We pray God will continue to watch over her and all she does. Thank you Anne.
We also will be saying goodbye to our schools worker, Nairne Joyes. Although she has only been with us a short amount of time, Nairne has been an asset to the team. We ,as a trust, have been blessed that she has used her amazing skills and giftings working with us. In what has been a very unique 6 months!
We pray that God will use her in her mightily in her next chapter.
Please keep an eye out for an advertisement t going out soon for Nairne's replacement
Anne’s departure leaves a gap that we would like to fill. We are looking for someone who can devote a couple of hours each week in term-time and who has these skills:
able to communicate effectively on the ‘phone;
IT skills including - ability to use email and electronic calendar. (Help could be given with these).
Able to liaise effectively with the Schools Workers and be part of their team;
Willing to be persistent in communicating with schools;
Able to think ahead and forward plan.
This role could be carried out from home or by working in the office at Elim Church Centre where the workers are based.
If you feel you could offer some help, or would like to know more, please give Tom Collins a call on 07919080703.
Please pray that someone will step forward to assist with this important job.
