CSWH was set up in 2001 with a large generous financial gift. We started with one worker and over the years we have moved from one worker to two. Our current workers both serve Primary and Secondary Schools/Academies within the boundary of Hastings and St Leonards, on occassion they also serve Guestling and Westfield. The work we carry out is free to schools and free to the children and young people who participate. The work is funded by the generous and ongoing giving of individuals, churches and local organisations who see the value in what we do. The project "Christian Schools Workers, Hastings" runs under "Hastings Christian Trust" a registered charity and a Local Mission Partner of Scripture Union, an international Christian organisation. We have come a long way since 2001, we started by supporting acts of collective worship and supporting young people with Christian Unions, now our workers carry out a plethoral of work during the year.
